People in rural villages, in remote regions around the world, are often forced to leave their homes and their communities in search of a better life.
When this happens, they leave behind the beauty of their heritage, their culture, and often even their language. So much is lost in the pursuit of opportunity.
And that’s why my guest today, and the organization he works with, have determined to take the opportunity to them. Rodrigo Paris joins me now from Barefoot College, where they’re helping the women in these rural villages, in 93 countries worldwide, to become solar power engineers. Bringing light and hope to their hometowns.
