This time The Edge of Adventure takes us to central Africa and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It’s the second largest nation in Africa, right in the center of the continent, where the Global Orphan Foundation works to care for children and communities in need.
Rachel Tanner joins me from this remarkable organization, sharing insight into the work they do under very difficult circumstances. It’s not an easy place to get to, not an inexpensive place to work. But the team at the Global Orphan Foundation, and those who support them financially, decided long ago that something had to be done to help the ones that others had forgotten.
